Who am I?
I was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Not to be confused with our frigid counterpart in Russia, I spent most of my childhood sweating on a baseball field. After a few years, I felt like sports wasn’t really for me. When I was 14, a friend of mine at school encouraged me to audition for the spring musical. I was a bit nervous stepping into the room, sure. However, when they handed me the script and asked me to cold read, the nerves vanished. It felt so natural to speak these words, to mold into this character. Once we got into tech week and I was put into my costume for the first time? I knew there was no turning back. This is what I was born to do.
At the moment, I’m studying at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia to get my BFA in Theatre, with an emphasis in Musical Theatre. While there, I’ve managed to perform in an abundance of great pieces: Ugly Lies the Bone, Guys and Dolls, Bright Star, The Merry Wives of Windsor, 9 to 5: The Musical, The Addams Family, and The Three Musketeers.
What am I doing when I’m not running lines or belting out to the mezzanine? Well, in my spare time, you can find me watching horror movies, sewing vintage garments, shopping for clothes, or listening to Disco, Funk, and 80s Synthpop.
